Sad, it’s true. I will have to point out that their vicious defense of their brand was quite two-edged. There were many alternative maker fairs sprouting because of the strict enforcement Make had. Do you know why Greenville never had a Maker Faire? Because Charlotte was geographically too close. Along with many others, I wrote letters about this and we got zero consideration. That’s why Roper Mountain Science Center had a Maker FEST. If they get it started back up again, which I think they will, they’ll probably want to reconsider how they “rule.”
