Real Time Location System

Laying out the boards for RTLS tags that can be tracked up to ~900ft with +/- 2" accuracy. The layout shown here all fits within a 0.6" x 0.6" square. Super small. I’ve only just noticed that the regulator I’m using cuts off at 2.35v but the battery I’m using has a recommended cutoff voltage of 3v. Now I have to find another regulator better suited to this application. It pays to take your time and be thorough with your research up front.

For distributors I go with DigiKey, LCSC, Mouser, Arrow, and good ol Alibaba.

For manufacturers I start with TI and STmicroelectronics and branch out from there if they don’t have what I need. TI and ST are really good with documentation.

Yeah if you could teach me how to make circuit boards I might actually pay you.

I’m making it a goal to be at the mill more often, especially Wednesday evening hack night. If you’d like to meet there during that time I’d be glad to help for free.

Yeah turns out my tires are showing tread and I’m sick for some reason. It’ll have to be next month, but I’m %90 sure I’ll be able to do it next month tho.
